Kelley Cawthorne

Rob Elhenicky joined Kelley Cawthorne as a government relations specialist in 2003. Prior to joining Kelley Cawthorne, Rob founded The Elhenicky Group, LLC a multi-client government relations and political consulting firm in Lansing, MI.

Formerly Rob served as the Manager of Government and Public Relations for Jackson National Life Insurance Company. In this role he lobbied at the local, multi-state, and federal level for one of the largest financial services companies in the nation. In addition to working on many significant pieces of legislation, Rob was instrumental in developing a very successful PAC program.

Prior to joining Jackson National, Rob served on the staff of Senator Bill Bullard, Jr. (R-Highland). In addition to co-directing Senator Bullard's successful 1998 reelection campaign, Rob coordinated and directed many of the Senator's legislative efforts.

Legislative, corporate and small business experience, combined with extensive political and campaign knowledge provide Rob with an insight that can assist clients as the effects of term limits are realized. With specialties including insurance and financial services, campaign finance, taxation, liquor regulation, transportation and non-profit management, Rob is well qualified to aid Kelley Cawthorne clients through any number of challenges.

A native of Portage, Michigan, Rob is a graduate of the University of Kentucky and makes his home in East Lansing, MI.
